First and foremost, I grew up in a household that watched every Nuggets game. My brother is a huge basketball fan, so I always did my math homework right after school if the Nuggets had a game that night. I played basketball myself and I enjoy running. I was raised in Bailey and have lived in Colorado my whole life. I've traveled to many places, both in and out of the country. I went to CU Boulder for a year and a half before transferring to UNC in Greeley to pursue a career in education. I graduated with my BA in Mathematics (secondary education emphasis) and a Minor in Psychology.
I taught math in DCSD for 6 years, then took two years off and went into web development. I worked for a consulting firm for a year, while I continued to tutor because I love helping students realize they are capable in their math classes. I decided to come back to the classroom in 2023 and am very excited to be a part of the RSS family!
